SHARKY SHELVES (B11)
Sharky is a system of shelves of various dimensions. Fully in accord with the line of the entire collection that makes open reference to the design of the 1940s and 1950s, the shelves are covered in precious shagreen: the skin of the rayfish, in fact, (a fish caught for food with a rhomboid body from the depths of the seas of Thailand and the Philippines) was very much used for the furniture coverings of that time. The supports for the shelves, which use a sophisticated interlocking technique for their joints with the wooden tops, are reminiscent of the fins of sharks protruding threateningly from the water. Through both the choice of the finish and their shape, these objects thus create a marine corner within the collection. Dimensions: cm 130x35; cm 140x35; cm 180x35 Details: "Mud" structure or full shagreen covering.
